Easter Message

I had the privilige of listening to my father preach this morning. He had four main points out of which really only remember one. The point that struck me was this: Jesus did not promise to take away our troubles when we come to Him. He only promises to go through the trouble with us. He faced trouble the most obvious of which is the cross. He understands hopelessness and the feeling of being forsaken. Why God chose to make life a life full of trouble I do not know or understand. I am thankful that Jesus promises to be there as we face the troubles in our lives.
