Fast Food

Recently I was involved in a discussion concerning which is the best way to consume fast food. Let us assume you purchase a Biggie Fries, Big Bacon Classic, and a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger. Now, which of these three items would consume first? Do you eat the biggest sandwich first and work your way into the smaller sandwich before tackling the fries? Or do you eat your fries first and then gnaw on the hamburgers? I normally eat the hamburgers first, starting with the biggest. I save my fries for last because if I manage to be to full of hamburger to eat the fries, I am not missing much. I am also curious if you are driving while eating does this change your routine?

My philosophy is:
Start with the best tasting sandwich first...this would most likely be the sandwich that came with the value meal. My reasoning behind this is, you want to enjoy it while the pangs of hunger are still fresh. You can allow yourself the occasional fry in between bites. Then I like to move on to what I call the "filler sandwhich"...this is usually a .99 kids burger. Just something to fill in the cracks. Then you finish off the remaining fries and viola...the end to a satisfying but very unhealthy meal.

Note: Never, I repeat, never start by eating all your fries and the filler sandwich first! This could lead to premature hunger reducement which in turn leads to a bland tasting costly burger.

Why eat a hamburger at all when it's possible to get a Hardees Big roast beef. Far better taste in addition to being much healthier. You can even spring for two if you like and just skip the frys! That's the way I like it. Who cares which one you eat first!

If you get a big sandwhich, (i dont remember what it was) why would you need a filler sandwhich? unless your kiddos can't eat it. there are probably an extra 250 calories in that little sandwhich that you probably don't need, especially if you are traveling

First, thanks for visiting my blog and your kind comments.
Second, growing up on the wrong side of the poverty line, we were always told to eat the meat first, then the veggies then the fillers like potatoes and bread. The wisdom behind this was that meat was much more expensive and not to be wasted. Even when full, we were always told to just eat the meat if we couldn't eat anything else.. so I guess I would eat the Biggie Bacon Classic first then the rest of the meal. old teachings die hard.

I found you via Google looking for info about Hege's store.
I got a kick out of this question. Two burgers? That's a lot. I'd give the small one to one of my children.
Now about the fries, it depends on their temperature. If they are only warm, I eat them after the burger, but if they are piping hot, I eat them right away. Nothing beats hot out of the vat fries!
