Headaches

My wife currently has a very severe headache. What steps do you take to relieve yourself of a headache? Do you swallow pills, lie on your bed, or drink a cup of coffee? What is the cause of your headache? Are most headaches related to stress, lack of sleep, or lack of food?

Most times it's just all in your head...

If you're gonna pop pills, then it should be Advil instead of Tylenol. It works much better to relieve pain.

Tight muscles. They cause headaches, and the headaches in turn cause tight muscles. Then the tight muscles....Well, anyway, you get the picture. The best remedy is a good backrub, but unfortunately, since these are few and far between, I usually try to ignore the headache.

The best thing to take is Aleve (or generic form of it). Take two, and it'll knock a headache in less than 30 mins. It relieves the nausea and everything related to migraines...at least for me.

Also, a day away from the kids/house helps sometimes. :o)

try drinking a big glass of water. most headaches come from dehydration!

Best thing I have found for a headache or any type of pain is Vicodin. I still have about 75 tablets of that stuff and I guard it carefully. I only use it when really necessary. Certainly not every day. I refuse to get addicted to it like Limbaugh did. LOL
