Survey

I am wondering.....
This may be a very touchy issue....
I don't think it should be but I believe I can understand how it could be.
So, if you don't want to answer that is fine.
Mainly because you won't if you don't want to and I won't know why because I don't know you.
Make sense? I didn't think so....
Anyway, how many of you are adopted or have foster parents? How many of you have adopted or have fostered children?

Its not touchy to me. I was (notice the word "was")adopted as a baby, and have a wonderful family. I am so thankful that God seen fit to pick me up and place me in a Christian Home, where I was loved and cared for and wanted.
My husband and I have fostered in years past, and it was a very rewarding experience, not without some heart-aches though. We now have 4 wonderful children of our own and yes, they were adopted too!!
So to me, adoption is not abnormal. Its all I know, and its a great way to see how God cares about all the children of the world.

I was adopted as a 3 month old infant. My parents are Mennonite, from Plain City Ohio. I have never regretted being adopted, nor was it ever a "bad" thing. It was never an issue at our house, except that my brother (also adopted) and I were very special, and were chosen. I have located my birth-mother, out of curiosity more than anything, but except for being my biological mother, I don't feel any connection to her. My parents are my parents.
I don't see adoption as abnormal at all.
