I am a singer who tends to hit random pitches. I Love my wife Rachel and my five children. Sierra (11), Aleya (8) Jayden (7) Jackson (7) Kaiden 3. Four of our five children are adopted so I am very interested in adoptions and the stories that go with them. I am a dairy farmer which I enjoy most of the time. Most importantly I love the Lord.

Definitly a toss-up between C.S. Lewis and James Harriot. I laugh myself silly at Harriot and can't wait to read Chronicles of Narnia to my children.
Well, that changes sometimes, doesn't it? I have enjoyed all the authors you listed.
Right now I am fascinated by reading E. Stanley Jones. He was a missionary in India. His writings are some about theology and some about communicating the Gospel cross-culturally. I think everyone should read at least one of his books. "The Christ of the Mount" is his book on the sermon on the mount, which is excellent.
Definitely C. S. Lewis although I do enjoy George McDonald also. Janette Oake is too much of a format writer -- when you've read one of hers, you've read most of them. James Herriot is funny, but often pointless.

Is Janette Oakes a goddess?
Last time I checked she was an author...
