I am a singer who tends to hit random pitches. I Love my wife Rachel and my five children. Sierra (11), Aleya (8) Jayden (7) Jackson (7) Kaiden 3. Four of our five children are adopted so I am very interested in adoptions and the stories that go with them. I am a dairy farmer which I enjoy most of the time. Most importantly I love the Lord.

Motorcycles
Do you own a motorcycle? Would you allow your child to ride an ATV or a motorcycle? Why or why not? Are they really more dangerous?

I would say they are a lot more dangerous. I don't think bad of any one who wants to use one though. if thats the risk they want to take it is their baby. I would like to have one but with a wife and 4 children owning one would be an unnessary risk to take. But I could definatly enjoy riding one. It is I must confess fun.
I'm not sure what you mean, is a motorcycle more dangerous than an ATV? They definitely are not, but I'd also add that ATV's are more dangerous than most people think. Especially since most people are so careless with them.
I don't currently own any (oh wait, I still have my little Suzuki 80 dirt bike in OR), but I've had a boatload of bikes and 3-wheelers in my day.
At this point, I think I'd like to have dirt bikes with my kids some day.
After working in the trauma unit in Chattanooga, Hans said that one of the doctors there said that he wouldn't even sit on a motorcycle parked in the parking lot. Hans thought that was pretty much how he felt about it after seeing what comes into the emergency room from motorcycle accidents.
I think they are suicide machines....plain and simple...but Dan rides a Yamaha Scooter...about the same, but he wears a helmet, required in Michigan and it doesn't go very fast...but I still hate it!! GOOD gas mileage though!!

Yeah, that's the main reason I quit riding street bikes!
And so many people, especially kids, are so stupid with them. Here in Hoosierville they don't even have to wear helmets.
