I am a singer who tends to hit random pitches. I Love my wife Rachel and my five children. Sierra (11), Aleya (8) Jayden (7) Jackson (7) Kaiden 3. Four of our five children are adopted so I am very interested in adoptions and the stories that go with them. I am a dairy farmer which I enjoy most of the time. Most importantly I love the Lord.

Robert Shaw
Jon found a VHS (video) of Robert Shaw conducting the Messiah. We are going to be watching this in a few minutes. I have always loved the music or choirs he has conducted. I really like the spiritual album. I have heard a few snippets about how he got the sound he got. Robert Shaw was a perfectionist and got what he wanted. Anyway, I am looking forward to watching him conduct. watching people conduct has always intriguer me. Maybe this is because I enjoy conducting.

Glad Songs
For those of you who are not aware, there is a new website called Glad Songs. You can find it at gladsongs.com. Sorry, I am to lazy to put the link in. Anyway, I went to the site this morning and listened to somethings. One of the groups was called the Table Singers. I have never heard of them. They were really good. They reminded me of the Mennonite Hour Choir. From what I could tell the group was singing in the late fifty's. I don't know if they are still active or not. So, slip over and check it out.

Southern Gospel
I found a southern gospel station the other day, JOY FM 106.6. I am not a big southern gospel fan but I did enjoy listening to the songs for a little while. Something did catch my attention and I found it very fascinating. Someone was doing a show and they were interviewing someone. (I can't remember his name.) He is a pianist and is blind. He was born blind. He made the statement that he can listen to a song one time and then play it. He said that sometimes he will need to listen to it twice to get the more intricate things. This man plays on Bill Gaither's homecoming concerts as well as for another group. Can anyone tell me his name? I would like to do a little Internet research and see some more information on this gentleman. God has given him an incredible gift of memory.
