I am a singer who tends to hit random pitches. I Love my wife Rachel and my five children. Sierra (11), Aleya (8) Jayden (7) Jackson (7) Kaiden 3. Four of our five children are adopted so I am very interested in adoptions and the stories that go with them. I am a dairy farmer which I enjoy most of the time. Most importantly I love the Lord.

Kyoto
Last night 5 couples from our church went to Kyoto for supper. I was impressed. The food was really good and the cook didn't hit anyone with a knife while showing us his skill. For those of you who don't know Kyoto is a Japanese restaurant. They cook your food right in front of you. I had steak and shrimp and four different kinds of sauce. The only sauce I didn't like was the mustard sauce. If you have never eaten at a place like this you should try it once.

Main Street Cafe
A new cafe has opened in Altavista VA. It is located on main street in a remodeled bank. I believe it is a remodeled bank because they have what is called a Vaulted Conference Room. You can have a conference and eat in the old vault. Very nice. I must put a big plug in for these fine people. The people who opened the cafe are Christian people who want to help keep young people out of trouble. The goal was to give young people some thing to do after school. Something to help keep them out of trouble. Tonight a buddy of mine and I went for supper. We got there not long before closing time. We ordered and ate and then she asked us if we wanted more soup. They were just going to throw it away anyway. We both said sure we would love more soup. So we had more soup. Those of you in the area really should go eat at this wonderful cafe....

Grilling
I grilled some steaks for supper tonight. My wife put some sort of seasoning on them and then I grilled them on our gas grill. Absolutely fantastic. Incredible taste. Do you grill?
